Diwakar Goel

Global head data - Blackrock

The Data Leader. The Technologist. The Strategist.

Diwakar Goel has worked across enterprise technology, data management and financial services, with leadership roles at GE and BlackRock. His career reflects a sustained focus on how large organisations manage information at scale.

The next leap in technology will depend on more than the tools' intelligence; it will depend on the foundations beneath them. This is the challenge Diwakar Goel has spent much of his career working on, from leading data transformation at GE to overseeing Aladdin Data at BlackRock. His ambition extends beyond managing information at scale. Making data dependable, accessible and useful enough to change how organisations think and operate, he has forged ways to move artificial intelligence from experimentation into everyday business. Goel has focused on building the conditions for meaningful progress rather than pursuing innovation for its own sake. Diwakar Goel became A ROTORIS Man in 2026.
