Gurindervir Singh is an Indian sprinter and Indian Navy Petty Officer who has established himself among the country’s leading track athletes. Born on 24 December 2000 in Patial village, Punjab, he specialises in the 60m and 100m sprints.

In May 2026, Gurindervir made history at the Federation Cup in Ranchi by clocking 10.09 seconds in the 100m, becoming the first Indian sprinter to break the 10.10-second barrier and setting the national record. He also holds India’s national record in the 60m with a time of 6.60 seconds.

His journey includes international success, including gold medals in the 100m and medley relay at the 2017 Asian U18 Championships and a bronze in the 4×100m relay at the 2018 Asian U20 Championships. He continues to represent India on the international athletics stage, carrying forward a remarkable journey built on discipline, persistence and speed.
