Vinamra Shastri is a seasoned business leader, investor, and advisor with over 24 years of experience across strategy, advisory, and capital markets.

As a founding partner, Vinamra played a pivotal role in setting up and scaling the consulting practice at Grant Thornton. During his tenure, he also led key firm-wide initiatives including the People & Culture function and the Markets function for North and East India, and served on Grant Thornton International’s Global HR Advisory Committee and Global Markets Team.

Today, Vinamra advises corporates and family offices on growth strategy, public policy, leadership hiring, M&A, and fundraising. He serves as a board advisor and board member to companies across hospitality, real estate, healthcare, e-commerce, manufacturing, fintech, media, and sports.

He is an active mentor to startups globally and manages a SEBI-registered Category II fund as Fund Manager, investing in high-growth and platform-led businesses.

Vinamra began his career with the Essar Group’s strategic planning division and has held leadership roles at EY (Corporate Finance) and Hewitt. He also completed a prestigious internship at the White House (USA). He is a member of EO and YPO, and currently serves as President of The Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Foundation.

He holds a B.Com (H) from Delhi University, a PGDM in International Management from IMI, and has completed the Executive Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
