Rajeshwari Kumari comes from the royal family of Patiala and a family with a distinguished sporting history. An Olympic trap shooter and Asian Games medallist, she has carried that inheritance into a pursuit of her own.
For Kumari, a family legacy was never a substitute for achievement. Her father, Randhir Singh, is an Olympian shooter, and her grandfather, Bhalindra Singh, was an accomplished sportsperson. She began competitive shooting at 20 and found that a familiar legacy didn't make the discipline any easier.
A silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games and an appearance at the Paris 2024 Olympics marked important milestones. In 2026, she took on another responsibility as a member of the Olympic Council of Asia Athletes Commission, representing the interests of athletes across South Asia. Her story blends inheritance and individual effort, with each achievement adding her own to the history she carries.
Rajeshwari Kumari became A ROTORIS Woman in 2026.
