Culinary Content Creator and Head of Marketing, Optus Housing
Meet Mrinal Marwaha - A Culinary Content Creator who turned storytelling into his signature ingredient.
Born on 3rd September 1997 and a graduate of The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Mrinal’s journey into food began long before social media fame. In 2020, he founded his first cloud kitchen, One Curry Destination, a concept built around mastering a single, comforting flavour: butter chicken gravy done right. What started as a focused culinary experiment soon evolved into something much bigger than a kitchen.
As his curiosity shifted online, Mrinal found his voice on the internet in the most organic way. His sister playfully called him “Mrinal Bhaiya” on camera, and he’d whip up a dish just for her. The warmth of that dynamic resonated instantly. Soon, friends followed, asking him to cook for them on camera, and the now-familiar “bhaiya” style became his signature.
That philosophy led to beloved series like Table for Two, along with local restaurant pop-ups, curated menus, and hands-on masterclasses that brought his digital storytelling into real-world experiences.
Known for his ingredient-forward storytelling and visually rich food journeys, Mrinal doesn’t just share recipes, he creates experiences. From miso-glazed portobellos to “Butter-Me-Up” cowboy prawns, every dish carries personality, warmth, and a sense of cooking for someone, rather than simply demonstrating a recipe.
By blending technique, comfort, and playful narrative, his unique style turns kitchens into stages and meals into moments people remember.
He’s loved for viral creations like Hyderabadi Marag, slow-cooked Mutton Nihari, his ongoing soup series, and cult-favorite butter recipes such as Hot Honey Ranch Butter and Pesto Butter, dishes that have won hearts both online and off.
Mrinal’s journey proves that passion, personality, and storytelling matter just as much as skill and that sometimes the most powerful kitchen isn’t a restaurant, but the internet.
