Harman Wadhwa is a founding member of Rotoris. Someone who has been part of what we are building from the very beginning, because we understood early that a brand making the strides we were aiming for needed someone with his specific background inside the room.
Harman Wadhwa completed his Watch Technician certification in 2019 at the Korpela Hoff Watchmaking Competence Centre in Le Locle, Switzerland. The curriculum is classical. You learn why a movement works, not just how to assemble one specific calibre. Le Locle is the centre of Swiss watchmaking geography. The major manufacturers are your neighbours when you walk to school. That environment, and that education, is where Harman's technical foundation was built.
He is India's first Swiss-qualified watchmaker.
Harman Wadhwa founded The Repair Hub in New Delhi in 2015, four years before his Swiss certification, after identifying a gap in the Indian market that nobody was seriously addressing. Most watch service in India at the time was a side function of retail, attached to a store, staffed by people with partial training. Nobody was running a dedicated facility with proper tooling, a controlled environment, and the depth of knowledge that serious mechanical watches require.
The Repair Hub changed that. Today the facility services watches across Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega, IWC, Breguet, Panerai, and most Swiss and Japanese calibres. It is an authorised service partner for Seiko, Victorinox, and Citizen. In 2023, Harman received the Movers of Time Award from Tradepost and was featured in the Watch Time India 10th Anniversary Edition.
Harman's role at Rotoris is technical and specific. Every movement is tested and regulated before casing. Timing is checked across multiple positions and adjustments are made by hand. Components arrive from different parts of the world and Harman Wadhwa ensures they come together with intention, checking fit, finish, and function at each stage.
Factory specifications are our starting point, not our finish line. Crown action, case back seal, the details that only reveal themselves after years of wear. These are checked, adjusted, and verified before any watch leaves our hands.
It is Harman at a bench, working through a movement by hand, making sure what ships is something we are prepared to stand behind for decades.
A watch is a long-term relationship. We take that seriously.
Rotoris partners with The Repair Hub for all after-sales service and support. Same facility. Same team. The same standards are applied to every watch that comes in for service as were applied before it left us. If your Rotoris Watches needs attention, it goes to the people who helped build it.
We built this infrastructure into the brand from day one because a claim of longevity is only credible if the person responsible for that longevity already has a track record on far more complex pieces. Harman does.
India has had people who could sell watches and distribute watches for a long time. The gap has always been on the technical side. The knowledge, the training, the ability to open a complicated movement and understand it from first principles.
Harman closed that gap for himself years before Rotoris existed. We are building on what he established.
When we say Rotoris is an Indian brand building to a global standard, Harman is a significant part of what makes that claim true. His training happened in Le Locle. His facility in New Delhi has handled Patek Philippe complications. His standards are the standards we hold ourselves to.
That is not something we added to the brand later. It was either there from the beginning or it wasn't.
